PALADINO DANDYISM
Officine Paladino was founded for two reasons: our owners are both tailoring aficionados, and they could not find the fabrics they desired to wear on the market for various reasons. But as any tailor and tailoring client knows, a refined outfit calls for more than just the suit itself. (Our own wardrobe drawers of suiting accessories will attest to this.)
Over the years, we’ve explored partnerships with various friends to develop other products related to suiting. The earliest collaboration was with Singapore-founded Vanda Fine Clothing, which produced a series of seven-fold ties with our fabrics.
EXPANDING OUR RANGE
When we first introduced our Aura collection which was intended to be used as jacketing lining, we discovered our clients and partners were exploring new avenues of creativity with the collection, using them for Hawaii-style shirts, dresses, and much more. It inspired us to consider how else we could use these designs we had created.
ACCESSORIES MADE IN ITALY
Working with our partners in Como, Italy, we selected a range of designs that we felt would translate well as suiting or tailoring accessories. These include a selection of designs with South, East, and Southeast Asian character. We partnered artists such as Yip Yew Chong and Pomme Chan to bring their artworks to life on our pocket squares and scarves.
USE YOUR IMAGINATION
Our silk pocket squares and scarves are printed using a sophisticated technique that ensures colours are well absorbed by the silk fabric. Sized at 34cm and 68cm square respectively, they can be used in a variety of ways, from handle wraps on handbags to neckerchiefs, bandanas, or as you would typically use a pocket square: in a pocket.
Wear them with a suit lined with a matching fabric, or explore different fabrics to contrast or vary your personal style with. (We recommend having one common colour or design element, if you are lining a suit with a different fabric as a selected pocket square.)
HOW TO WEAR IT
