OP1971 Baby Blue
The Vibe:
The cotton seersucker is designed for climates where sweat becomes a concern. Deliberately woven to cause bunching, it does not cling to the skin, allowing you to cool off easily. We have produced a range of striped seersuckers in colours from baby blue to light brown, and our personal favourite, a two-toned, blink and you’ll miss it midnight blue, to conceal the bunching.
Tailoring Suggestions:
Seersucker is a favourite for summer weddings, where relaxed but formal suiting is recommended.
Consider more casual alternatives with seersucker for daily wear, e.g. an overshirt or shirt jacket, or a chore coat without the heft.
This is an ideal fabric for travel suiting, where crumpling doesn’t affect your personal style.
Style it with:
Complementary colours or different shades of the same seersucker stripe work well.
Avoid additional patterns, as they may clash with the look (except for jacket linings, feel free to explore prints or designs like OP199 Bengal shown here).
Wear them as separates and combine with denims, linens, or other lighter fabrics for comfort and style.
